WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
The AIDA 1 Star course consists of three main phases:
Knowledge development about fundamental freediving principles.
Confined water session to learn breathing, relaxation and breath-hold techniques as well practice static; plus proper buddy procedures and rescue techniques for this discipline.
Open water session to practice free immersion and constant weight freedives.
To enrol on an AIDA 1 Star course you must be at least 16 years old. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with snorkelling, skin diving or freediving is required.

2 theory sessions
1 breathing & relaxation session
1 static apnea session
1 open water session
Duration: 1 day
Note: The AIDA 1 Star is the 1st day of the AIDA 2 Star course. Therefore, if you wish to continue your progression on completion of this course, you may do so by joining the AIDA 2 Star the next day.
