By the end of the course you will be able to perform a 2 minute 45 second breath-hold, swim 55 m underwater with fins and dive comfortably between 24 and 30 meters depth.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
The AIDA 3 Star course consists of three main phases:
Knowledge development about advanced freediving skills and techniques, including Frenzel equalization, needed for deeper diving.
Confined water sessions to refine static and dynamic apnea.
Goal – static apnea of 2 minutes, 45 seconds and dynamic apnea of 55 metres.
Open water sessions to practice free immersion, Frenzel equalisation and constant weight freedives along with buoyancy control and Freefall, plus proper buddy procedures and rescue techniques. Goal – constant weight freedive of ≥ 24 metres.
To enrol on an AIDA 3 Star course you must be at least 16 years old and have an AIDA 2 Star certification (or a qualifying certification from another freediving organization and have completed the AIDA Crossover Evaluation).
