By the end of the course you will be able to perform a 3 minute 30 second breath-hold, swim 70 m underwater with fins and dive comfortably between 32 and 38 meters depth.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
The AIDA 4 Star course consists of four main phases:
Knowledge development about nutrition, relaxation, advanced freediving skills and techniques, including Frenzel-Fattah equalization, needed for deep diving.
Full body stretching, lung stretching including packing and reverse packing,
Confined water sessions to improve static and dynamic apnea attempts.
Goal – static apnea of 3 minutes, 30 seconds and dynamic apnea of 70 metres.
Open water sessions to practice mouthfill equalization and perform warm-up and workup dives for free immersion and constant weight freediving.
Goal – constant weight freedive of ≥ 32 metres.
To enrol on an AIDA 4 Star course you must be at least 16 years old and have an AIDA 3 Star certification (or a qualifying certification from another freediving organization and have completed the AIDA Crossover Evaluation).
